It had been a really shitty week to be an Auror. When your job description was to catch dark wizards and the opposite of that had happened, well, it was hard to not feel sorry for yourself. His mother could tell something was up, because she started cooking comfort foods. There were only so many meals that Kingsley could eat though before his pores were sweating Manchego cheese. He had to escape his house, but very few things were open after 7:00pm. So, like most people, Kingsley found himself at a bar.
Upon entering, he spotted the profile of someone he used to know very well. Used to being the keyword. They’d been in school together, had gotten along swimmingly, but it was so easy for young people to grow apart. Still, that didn’t stop him from walking up, taking the seat next to Benjy, and asking, “Hey, can I buy you a drink?”
