important things to keep in mind about talon.

he remembers his birth name, he knows what it is but it sounds so foreign and strange to him. like it was a whole different life ago, which in a way, it was. so if he has found someone he cares about and they ask if he has a different name he will much rather ask them to name him.

his entire idea of self and identity is tied to the ring he owns; it is his most treasured keepsake and the only thing he has of his human life before becoming a bonded. it is, also, the only thing he has that remains of his parents.

if he lets you touch the ring it already means he places more trust in you than anyone else

so if he gives it to you? he’s basically giving you his life. he’s basically saying “hey, i will give you the very essence of what makes me a person”

he can use magic and use it to enhance his weapons, it’s power is usually enhanced the more emotional he gets but because he forces himself to remain passive and calm most of the time he usually only uses it to knock people out; he forces the lethality of his attacks into his own body to ensure he doesn’t kill someone

yes, it hurts like hell to do that but he won’t stop anyway

the more emotional he gets to more control over his body the harbinger can take to ensure that his bonded does not die or do anything to completely interrupt the flow of their contract; talon, however, has had the contract for so long now that he can communicate with the harbinger

it is part of why he can be incredibly dangerous and why it’s good that he’s a thief and not a blood-thirsty person; he can give and take control over his body from the harbinger which, as a cursed entity, has his original powers but also corrupted powers too; should talong become a vessel for him he’d be powerful enough to destroy an entire continent with one attack; as a temporary host he’s already powerful enough to demolish an entire capitol city with what is essentially a snap of his fingers

while he is incredibly powerful and can easily overwhelm most enemies talon still knows that he isn’t immortal; it’s easy to hurt him and perhaps even kill him if he’s not careful because while overpowering people may be the fastest way to win it also leaves the most openings for them to find

he likes to challenge the harbinger because he knows that since their bond has been going on for so long he is eligible as a full-time vessel should the harbinger want; he knows he is running on borrowed time and hence he does his best to anger the harbinger enough to retreat for a while

the harbinger, does, not intend to take over his body so far. talon does not know that however since it isn’t like they can read each others thoughts

knowing it could happen but not knowing when or under which circumstances is what is kind of makes him just a tad paranoid about certain things

fenrir never transforms quite like a werewolf does; his skin doesn't tear, his wolf doesn't come out. it consumes him, his skin burns off, drops to the ground like it was made of wax all along, like he was icarus flying too close to the sun, or in fenrir's case, the fires of hell.

it burns off and it leaves him with new scars every time, it burns and it hurts and it brands his mind with the rage of a wounded animal anew every single time.

and it's why he stays in one form for a longer period of time before he shifts; because the pain is too great, takes too much of a toll on him even with his speedy recoveries. it's because the curse tries to ward of the magic that transforms him but ultimately fails because fenrir subdues his curse as well as he can.

twenty - one year old law student

the younger brother of ash but doesn't remember his brother because he was 3 when ash disappeared; he does know he used to have an older brother though, he just assumes he's dead

lives in a small apartment but designed an entire room for his birds ( a pigeon and a raven that he helped when they had a damaged wing / damaged foot and ended up never leaving when he tried to set them loose )

lost his father on his 18th birthday, doesn't know who his mother is but has an amazing relationship with his neighbour, she's basically his grandma at this point

has some shady friends and tries to help them out of their bad life choices

gets into fights regularly because of his friends but refuses to fight back because he doesn't like violence

looks a whole lot like his brother

very innocent and easily flustered! tries to act cooler than he is but is actually a walking golden retriever

plays the guitar and the kalimba

loves online gaming and practically flew through most ranked games since he's pretty good at most of them

always wanted to own a dog but never had the chance to do so

bad sleeping schedule since he works two jobs aside from law school & in the few off hours he has he works out

has a joke tinder account where he'll send his matches random animal facts and some positivity

was incredibly popular in school and still is because he is so easy going and kind and being around him makes people genuinely feel better a lot of the time

has a sore spot on the topic of his brother because after his father's death he did some digging and found out why ash was carted odd to their uncle in the first place. it ... upset him, a lot

one of four bonded of the ecstasy, somewhere in his twenties & full-time thief

almost as good as as talon at being a thief but likes being flashy and dramatic more so he sometimes doesn’t even steal things, he’s just making a show

was called the falcon because he’s using falcons to send letters warning authorities of his next heists

since the ecstasy is theoretically the third most powerful entity ( given that the top two spots are shared spots ) he’s extremely powerful

uses his powers for shenanigans though

based on the ecstasy his powers are more about manipulation and tend to have more of a “drug” effect on people to the point some can turn into part-time mindless puppets he can control

usually uses that part of his power for free booze 

is a genuinely caring person but tends to act like nothing matters to him

blunt & direct and kind of rude the first time around but most people can see he’s got a good heart

has rescued a baby dragon from another bonded ( of the reaper ) who basically tortured it to absorb it’s energy and magic

didn’t even want to adopt it, against all expectations it just followed him around

is the only one who can speak to the dragon given that that’s it’s choice 

has a strained relationship with the ecstasy where they will purposefully restrict his regenerative powers if he acts against their will

has also been fooled more than once by their mortal vessels to lure him 

became a bonded at age fourteen when he wanted revenge against his uncle who murdered his father and forced his mother to marry him 

his uncle’s dad now :)

anonymously supports his mother but after his bond changed his appearance he’s faked his own death in the past & has since become “falcon” full-time

rich bitch & will buy all the goods cause he keeps looting the nobles bc fuck those guys

you know sumayl trusts you when he lets you past his comfort zone; he flinches away from physical contact because of his past so when he lets someone close physically it's definitely a sign he trusts them
