Chester looks up, enthralled by the steady thump thump thump of Hank’s heart. If he focuses he can hear it without invading anyone’s personal space, though, he might have come a teeny tiny bit closer than expected.
He can’t help it, he’s fascinated by the human nature, by what could possibly keep this entire organism running for so long.
Of course the slight anomaly in the Lieutenants rhythm doesn’t go unnoticed but he doesn’t mention it. Chances are he’s already well aware of it.

After his last case has gone haywire completely and he ended up with several threats to his life, both in written form and out on the street in broad daylight, Connor has finally called his case in at the DPD. And now he’s stuck with someone watching him 24/7. A human of all things. Not that he minds humans, he’s just sure that a human is threatening him. Besides, Chester doesn’t sleep. It seems rather ineffective to send a human.
He waits at the station, staring daggers at Connor’s back until a foreign voice interrupts his thoughts. “So, you’re Chester Chester?” He already hates this.
“Actually, It’s Chester Greene, but yes. that would be me.” He gives the human in question a look, noting the rather rugged attire. “You’re Detective Reed?”

Chester can do nothing but stare at the detective and his questionable life choices. “I can’t eat, Detective Reed, as I do not have a digestive system.” He can only imagine what the sticky substance would do to his wiring and a shiver runs down his spine. “I would really prefer not to try, thank you.”
