There was a lot to learn when it came to understanding human nature. Quite honestly, Miyoung thought them all to be cowardly. Instead of holding their ground and fighting, they’d flee and hide. They’d run to the ends of the earth if it meant avoiding confrontation, and Miyoung couldn’t understand that. Not one bit.
Why run, when you can fight?
Miyoung tilts her head, raven hair falling over her shoulder. This human was urging her frantically to run, but neither of them seemed to be in any immediate danger. She looks around, and then rests her eyes on the two men collapsed at her feet, whom she’d just moments ago reaped of their belongings.
She hadn’t gotten much, but the money she’d managed to steal would get her through a few days. After that, she’d probably be in a similar position. Miyoung couldn’t identify danger, at least, not the same kind of danger humans could; the two men she’d robbed were part of a notorious gang, and the rest of their members weren’t far behind; they’d heard the cries for help, and they’d arrive on the scene in just a few minutes time.
The human urges her again with wide eyes, recognizing the faces of the men hunched over on the ground. They were known all over the districts of Seoul for being part of one of the biggest underground drug cartels, and yet somehow, this dainty girl has them both lying on the ground, coughing and hacking on their own blood.
Miyoung decides it’s probably for the best to heed his warning; after all, he is a human, so he probably knows what’s best. So, she grabs his hand tight ( just maybe she could keep him around and learn from him ) and takes off running, hair billowing out behind her as the breeze lifts it from her shoulders.
She’s dragging him down different alleyways, darting around from street to street to keep out of sight, all while smiling from ear to ear. It’s actually quite fun to run, she decides, and even more fun to drag a human around with her while running.
"That was fun!" She exclaims finally when she’s decided they’re out of danger, dropping his hand and looking around the shadowed alleyway. "Should we do it again?"
