Explain how Actually Romantic is a multiple blurry muse song? I find that believable

i think it is multiple blurry muse song but in the same vein it is also sort of a multi situation based song (?). like i dont think that i could pin point which people she had in mind when writing about it (other than charlie, matty indirectly AND kim). but for me, actually romantic is a culmination of everything that happened till ttpd, which includes being ghosted by the 'love of her life', betrayed by her best friends, losing the masters + public perception of her even.

why do you like sigurd?

because why not?

i feel like i see more 'hate' towards him than love and sometimes i genuinely wonder why? he was pretty shitty during the majority of the game, but that shouldn't completely define his character. eivor adores him. this is evident through the way she would literally do anything for him. if he was such a terrible person, she would have dropped him without a doubt. but, she stands by him until he can see the world clearly again because she trusts him and loves him. this just proves that he must of been a pretty darn wonderful person throughout their time growing up together.

i saw someone call him 'ab*sive' the other day and honestly that left me baffled because HOW? his failed marriage with randvi doesn't justify such an accusation, especially since we don't know the extent of their marriage. from what can be gathered in game, they got married - he probably wasn't happy, just like she wasn't happy - and then he left because he had much larger aspirations that his father wished to squash. he voices this concern in game. he was only ever kind to her when he returned, and he was kind to her throughout the small moments we saw them interacting. he probably just wasn't interested in the political marriage, but this doesn't make him ab*sive... also the fact he seems uninterested just shows that neither of them really had any time to get to know each other, so it is more awkward than it is harmful. i'm sure a lot of political marriages have played out the same way - especially in ancient and middle age time periods. like you can't compare it to today's standards of marriage, that would be stupid.

i genuinely think that there is much more for us to see with his character, and i hope he pops up in one of the future dlc's because i would love to explore more of his relationship with eivor. the small moments of dialogue we got from the cairn puzzles showed moments between them that honestly warmed my heart and tells me just how caring and wonderful he truly is. he loves fiercely and protects without question; this is evident through his bond with eivor and i adore it. he unfortunately just had his vulnerabilities totally manipulated and twisted by basim (loki) and i feel that is an unfair excuse to judge his character.

also when you add fulke's months long torture, sigurd was merely a shell of a man by the time he returns. his outbursts of anger are not strange and are actually completely understandable. he was hurt and vulnerable; he was attacking and deflecting in order to maintain the image of a strong leader everyone saw him as, but he was falling apart. he was left in the realm between the reality of the isu and that of being a man, it would do my head in too! his anger does seem to come more in the form of tyr voicing his anger at odin taking his position as chief among the aesir, so i think it is important to understand some of the mythological background to the gods before pointing a finger at how 'rude' and 'mean' sigurd is. especially because sigurd actually hints that he is aware of eivor being the reincarnation of odin when she rescues him! (he calls her mad one - which also shows he has been completely manipulated by loki.)

anyway... he is gorgeous and gudmundur thorvaldsson did an amazing job!!

p.s. people who claimed he did nothing for ravensthorpe. he did everything until basim managed to sink his claws in. he saved his people and provided them with a new opportunity to flourish in england. it is just unfortunate that other people's agendas caused him to fall from grace. also, it is all strictly following the script of tyr's fall and odin's rise as chief of the aesir, as said before.

i personally like to believe that post-game, he and eivor stand together as chieftons of the raven clan, where they both belong.

hey! first of all, im so glad you like them and youre absolutely welcome!! 💖 of course i dont mind telling you, it's not as hard as it may seem!! i used photoshop to make them (im not familiar with any other program, sorry about that). "tutorial" under the cut!

1. get your basic edit done

2. open the timeline - Window > Timeline

3. add video layer/gif overlay (i personally used both options for the headers i made. gif overlays can be found on deviantart, the packs i used can be found here and here) - what you do is you open the video/gif in a new tab and simply copy + paste the timeline onto your edit. if you're using a video you can also go to Layer > Video Layers > New Video Layer from File to add your desired effect

4. transform gif/video layer until the edit is fully covered or until the parts you want the animation to be on are covered - Edit > Free Transform

5. change layer style to your liking

6. youre done! export your creation - File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy)

thank you anonie 🥰 first of all i download the videos here: https://ymp4.download/en6/  afterwards i use vapoursynth to slow, crop, sharpen and reduce noise! (preprocessor qtgmc 60 slow, knlm denoise on 1.28 and finesharp on 0.77) then i colour and finish things with gaussian blur on 0.2 and smart sharpen on 0.3 with reduce noise on 30! hope this helps 🥺 i could also make a gif process video one day if more people are interested!

I have a few questions, all relating to the DemonCat fanzine. How do fanzines even work? Can people under 18 participate? How much work do you have to do? How skilled do you have to be? I'm not sure if I qualify.

Hello anon!

A fanzine is a project made by fans for fans, where artists & writers together with the Mods create a book with their creations (art, fics, merchandise...) . This zine plus the merch created will be up for pre-ordering and afterwards will be shipped worldwide to the buyers.

Yes, people under 18 years can participate in a fanzine if the project is SFW, which in our case, so far it is. So yes, people under 18 can join in the DemonCat zine.

As for how much work, it depends on your choice. If you're an artist and are selected you have to do one piece/ one merch item but if you wish to create more than one, you're free to draw as many as you wish!

In case you're a writer, you can do from one short story (usually the min is 1k and the max is settled on 3-3.5k) or various shorter stories. Once again the amount of work is up to you. We also usually give extensions when our creators need them.

As for how skilled you have to be, you don't have to necessarily be super skilled to participate in the zine. You don't have to shy away from a project you really like in fear you won't qualify. You just keep drawing/ writing until the apps open, believe me, the only way to improve our talents is by working on them daily! You'll see how much you improve! At the same time, no matter your skills you can ask for a RedLinner, an artist that will help you with your piece's anatomy,composition, any problem you may have. Or an editor/ beta-read who will help you with your fic composition, language barriers, grammar mistakes etc.

So don't worry about qualifying or not! The zine is a project to enjoy, have fun & make friends!♡
