You didn’t grab me when I fell
and after everything we’ve ever done
the praises and hymns
and all her creations
and you just didn’t care
who are you to judge when all I’ve done
is the best I could to hide
sneaking behind choirs
and settling under Edens garden
spinning tales and webs of dreams
I’d never dared, they drew me wild
when we would twirl each other around
and dance till the chimes sang
when you and I were both as one
but then you left
and nothing was the same
and so I rebelled and you became
something we both hated
the icy arch of heaven
and the cursed prince of hell
