I LOVE the idea that Jaskier the Bard from the 13th century is some modern day meme that everyone loves. Like, everyone collectively agrees that if Jaskier the Bard was alive today, he would LOVE the modern era. (Of course, Jaskier was one of these people who made those memes, and he only realizes halfway through furiously writing the second Shrek play and giving himself the role of the fairy godmother who he's become. Holy shit, he's THAT slutty iconic bard!) Imagine the memes honestly. People would ADORE him. Especially if he has some 13th century version of Born This Way because LGBT+ rights, but he changed it up to be more subtle. Modern day would IMMEDIATELY get it. They know what he means they're not 13th century uneducated peasants they KNOW this bard had it going on.
In high school, Julian writes an essay about Legendary Slutty Genius Bard - and then ten years later, he BECOMES him
