im so tired of women being collateral damage in men's heroic narratives tbh

i know this movie is from the 50s but like 50 years later and this is not only overused but an inherently problematic way to frame men, and women's, narratives

i feel like i'm being extra critical with this lately but at the same time its really frustrating how common this plot device. This plot device is so OLD and its stll being used and the only characters that pay the price are women  -____-
