quil im going to fucking. you just FIGURED THAT OUT???????? you did math on ages (arguably one of The most complicated character things in the books) and got it RIGHT???????? i literally cant figure out when half the books events take place you have magic for Real
YEAH I DID AND GUESS FUCKING WHAT. It wasn't just Keefe and Fitz I also did THE EXACT SAME THING for Sophie, because her age is mentioned at the top of page 374 and the middle of 375, and did I look at EITHER of those spots? NOPE! I only looked at the bottom of 374. In fact I just opened the book to look at it again when answering this very ask to see that Sophie's age in exact months is given, something I did not use when answering the prior ask even after discovering Fitz and Keefe's ages were directly given
You know what I did use? Dex being a few weeks away from 14, Sophie being 6 months older than him, Keefe being older than Sophie, Fitz being 11 months older than Keefe, and Sophie; Keefe; and Fitz being 15, 16, and 17 right now respectively. There's also a few other things I used as a guide like Sophie being between ages for levels. That's what I used. I just blacked out everything else Shannon very conveniently mentioned ON THE PAGES I WAS LITERALLY LOOKING AT
You know, because that places Sophie at about 14 and half, and Keefe is also 14 but still has an age gap where he's older so he's got a few months on her, so I estimated 4-5 and it turns out he's like 5 1/2 months older. And then Fitz is 11 months older than that, which makes him a month or two away from 16, and it turns out he's 2 months away from 16. I did. I did all of the calculations. Because that arrangement also allows them to be three different ages at the same time (15, 16, 17), so long as Keefe is at least one month into being 16. I oaierhg. I DID THE MATH OKAY.
And I got it right. The most complicated way possible but I did it. Ages in the series are so annoying at times because elves don't really care about it, but i got it. I knew the exact quotes to reference, where to find said quotes, and I did the math. Neatly and concisely with room for error.
I've simply. absorbed the series. I know so much. And I love puzzles. This was just another puzzle to destroy, to conquer. And I did. Not only did I put the pieces together, but I found them in the first place.
I am nothing if not committed to accuracy. The things I will do to ensure I'm as close to factual as possible...they are unspeakable. The magic I have for Real is boundless. My limits are unknown. I'm in charge now
