AN: 1) Due to sizes of the groups and group photos, I had to crop out a few members. Sorry. 2) Reminder, this a “fan” submitted confession/opinion.
No one besides BlackJacks are comparing BlackPink and 2NE1. Anytime the two groups are compared it is only to put BlackPink down and people are just being Anti's. It's not proving that 2NE1 are better and it's not stopping the success of BlackPink. It's causing unnecessary drama and fan wars. You don't have to like BlackPink but you also don't have to bully them or their fans. Also, BlackPink did not cause YG to stop promoting 2NE1. There are so many other factors involved in 2NE1's disbandment.
Being with 2ne1 from 2009-2017, over the years I’ve watched Sandara, I can’t help but feel like she’s trying to be Filipino, even in her mannerisms too. Almost like she tries too hard. Her Filipino accent also sound exaggerated and fake, if anything Sanghyun should have an accent being around the language a lot younger than Sandara.
Because how entitled kpop fans like to act, I hate to identify myself as a fan of say group. Is it so wrong to say I like 2ne1 if so far, I only like 4 songs of theirs? I’m making my way around and it takes a while before I can even admit to myself that I like something, much less say it out loud to others. So if at a point, I can honestly say I like a group, likely, I’m serious about it.
