spy au: our muses are on a top secret mission together
Lee Junho. 23. Mafia Emperor.
Su Min smiles at portfolio in front of her. There is a gleam in her eyes as she shares the file with her partner. The smile they share is simple and self-explanatory. Like two children who have the treasure island, they share the same interest.
“I say we burn him,” Su Min giggles as she flips the page. Such pretty hair to be burnt. The smile widens as she thinks about certainly fun ways to destroy an empire. Maybe she’ll take his crown next time.
“But that’s too easy!” Krystal whines. Krystal steals the folder from her and Su Min looks over her shoulders as she flips through the page. Aggressive, insane, relentless. There is always something twisted about their quests. “Let’s take everything from him,” she finishes. There’s a pretty picture of Junho on the last page. Su Min likes purple on him. They throw ideas at each other until they both agree on something, anything. It’s obvious that they enjoy murder than they should.
“The Black Market would find it oh so valuable. A man of his physique, of honor, how wonderful!” Su Min claps her hands together. They share another look. Their eyes widen in glee. Adrenaline rushes through their veins. The mere thought of death makes them feel as though they’re on a roller coaster. Su Min zips her lips, Krystal takes her hand. It’s a ride worth waiting in line for. They start with the red car, blue car, white one, and black.
The black one is shot down first. Guns and bullet holes have always been Su Min’s favorite. There is soft laughter in the air as they take disguises, play dress up, and rob the car full of money. Krystal likes driving because Su Min can’t stand having her feet on something like metal.
They make deals. They steal money. It’s a game, really. It’s fun and safe. Su Min likes the tales of a guilty conscious. Krystal steals some hearts. Su Min steals the rest of their ribs. Eyes meet in between the scheming. The drinking happens at strange hours of the day and they simply watch as the numbers dwindle. Subtraction was always a lot more fun when you could use it in real life. Twenty-nine subtract twenty-eight is always one.
Su Min claps her hands again when she sees red. There are some parts left over, but it’s nothing to worry about. Her hands are dirty and Krystal grins at all the fun things she gets to keep and sell. It’s just childsplay.
“Let’s do it again,” Krystal hums. Su Min takes her hand and nods.
“Just as long as I get to see red.”
Like two kids, always like two kids.
