Atem/Mahad:While it’s not quite an OTP, I definitely ship it more than a QTP. Honestly, I’ve never understood how the fandom just slept on this ship and on Mahad in general. His devotion to Atem was a huge part of his character - he literally died for him. Combined with the adorable scenes of them together as kids and the fact that Mahad lives on as the Dark Magician, these two definitely deserve more love.My hc for them is that Mahad and Set both had a romantic rivalry over Atem, something that Atem is completely aware of, but acts like he isn’t because it amuses him.Asami/Korra:An easy OTP for me. During season one I was a Borra shipper, at the end of season one I switched to a Borrasami (Bolin/Korra/Asami) shipper, but then I… didn’t really care for Bolin during season two (he’s better now though), so I started to purely ship Korrasami and it stayed that way. I believe from season three onward that there’s a lot of implication for this ship, so much so that while the series was airing I felt sad that two characters with such nice chemistry probably wouldn’t become endgame. BUT THEN THEY DID BECOME ENDGAME. I’ll never forget watching that finale with my brother for the first time and the joy we felt when they stepped into the light together. Sadly, I’m behind on the comics, but I seriously want to catch up to see more of their adventures.My hc for them is that they have lots of double-dates with Bolin & Opal. It’s a super chill atmosphere and everyone gets along well.
