there is NOTHING better, absolutely NOTHING, than content creators’ reactions when you add some content of your own based on theirs. For example. Any fanfic author can attest to this; if someone sends us fanart we will DIE. we will DIE and we will come back from the dead just to shower you with love and praise and affection. another example: it works the other way too. today I saw some art that sparked something, so I wrote a little blurb. it was maybe five hundred words and not my best work by far, but the artist was so happy. I love it when people are happy. I love making people happy. It’s so nice to know that I caused someone’s happiness, and for such a small cost. 

someone sent me an ask asking me to share a line from a WIP and saying they loved my writing, and I- oh my god. I nearly cried. To know that someone loves my writing, what I pour hours into, it’s so amazing. I have authors that I love and adore, people who I think make wonderful things that the world should see. I just assume they know I love them. But I realize. Telling someone you’re a huge fan- that’s just- it’s a beautiful feeling to get that ask, that comment, that message. 

that’s why I make it a point to spread happiness. I try to make everyone happy. I once made a little clay thing based on some art I found. I’ve spent a lot of time on things for people, and it makes me so happy. 

...i don’t know. I guess I just wanted to share this.

kinda wanna start a podcast... maybe as a follower special? I’ve just got a lot to say and my mind does this thing where one thing triggers another thing which triggers a memory which triggers a funny story and I thought that might be a fun podcast. let me know if you’d like that and I’ll see if I can set one up! I’ve already got a concept in my mind for the name and everything.
