Will it be a sad ending? im completely devoted to this story and caught up to chapter 186 in about 5 days 💀 im too emotionally attached to get hurt
O_o in just 5 days? Woah, you’re a fast reader and definitely very emotionally invested in the story xD I’m happy for it, as a writer, but I normally don’t hear about people who read Gladiator that fast anymore, seeing how long it is xD consider me impressed!
Anyways, no, we won’t have a sad ending. I mean, the answer also depends on which characters you’re attached to? But if your main concern are our two leads, they’ll definitely go through hard times but, spoilery as it may be, they’ll pull through and find the happy ending they definitely deserve :)
There’s other characters who won’t have it easy either, and some who won’t really get a favorable ending... they’re not the best liked characters in general, but I know some people love them, so that’s not going to make their few fans happy, I suppose :’D either way, I’m not really that much of a carnage-driven storyteller, I don’t find any joy in killing off characters the way other people might. And while there’s nothing wrong, fundamentally, with writing sad stories, it has never really been my thing. I’d feel underwhelmed by my own writing if I spent this long building up something so big only to give it a miserable conclusion.
So yes, there will be angst, and yes, there’s going to be chaos... but ultimately, our main characters will make it through and find their way through the difficulties they’ll face eventually :)
