miss ap lit sm i’m abt to start stealing essay prompts from college board and answering them just for funsies
#personal#i’m not taking an english class next year that’s so tragic#actually wait there’s a possibility that i will take one at least similar to one??#the honors college requires this 6-credit course all year and rn mine is related most to history but i’ll have to change it if i make#marching band bc of a time conflict and the most ideal alternative schedule-wise is one on american voices that i’m p sure is supposed to#involve a lot of reading#much more ela-adjacent by the sounds of it#it’s related to art and music too so that would be fun#but idk that i would be able to switch to it since it could be full or they might not let me change mine at all and i won’t be able to do#marching band either etc#ALSO guess what i got my ap lit teacher so send me the future assigned reading list that he showed me at the end of the year LMAO#*to send#so i’ll start chipping away at that just bc it has a lot of interesting choices and a wide variety (it’s separated into three sections#fantasy/sci fi black authors and…i don’t remember what the last one is actually and can’t figure it out bahaha it has a lot of standard#classics but also kite runner and in the time of the butterflies which are both recent so i’m not sure what’s going on there)#and i already have three crossed off (jurassic park time of the butterflies and oedipus rex)#picture of dorian gray is on there and it also won the poll i made before getting my hands on the list so i’ll probably start that soon#the ap lit chronicles#the way that i’m still using this tag even though i graduated#OH wait nvm i think the third section for the reading list was authors from around the world#so they’re all written by people from different nations#mean spirit for america kite runner for afghanistan time of the butterflies for Dominican Republic things fall apart for nigeria candide#for france dorian gray for ireland etc
