There's a popular comic here that depicts simon as pretty violent (i read the first few pages, but stopped after i realized how ooc simon was written), and it's so uncomfortable to read. have these people even watched the movie??

i understand having headcanons, and i understand that if he were REALLY scared or hallucinating, he might bluff and say he'll attack if anyone comes close, but he'd never actually raise a hand to hurt someone. he'd probably just give up and cry in a corner until you convinced him he's safe. and sure, he will doubt it at first, but compared to the situation he was in, i'm sure he'd be relieved even if he thinks it could be a trick.

Gygyggyxr like I'm all for ppl playing with characters like dolls, that's the beauty of fiction, it's fun!! But, unfortunately there are times where people want a character to fit in a box that they just aren't for the benefit of another character or to advance the plot😭

I think with Simon, a few haven't watch the film and have just taken the crumbs from bm fics/drawings and went from there without the original source (which hey, I've done too for cross-ships) but, they want Simon to fit in the "violent ex-cultist who needs redemption and saving by another man who will teach him kindness" box and it's like,,,,just not Simon

Simon definitely would have huge fears, especially if he can't decipher reality and hallucinations.

But, the most he'd do is potentially grab something as a weapon as to show he'll "do something" but his fingers would tremble and it'd show in his eyes that he won't actually do anything, it's the Butcher farce. (Like when he grabbed the scissors in the film when he saw his hallucinated self- he leaped out but his form was all wrong, it was to look scary, in hope it'd back down)

In a bloodymary context I think the only time Simon would get violent would be under *extreme* circumstances. Like if another eridian hurt Grace or Rocky intentionally- maybe then the adrenaline would blind him and have him act with physical means rather than trying to verbally control the situation

reaaally hope you don't find this creepy but i dreamed you'd updated chapters 19 and 20 of omtsy and it involved a dinner party at the potters to which lily was invited and she and james cast a disillusionment charm on themselves so they could have sex in the kitchen or bathroom or smth in case florence walked in?? anyway big fan of your work!!

LMAO no it's not creepy, it's funny. i've had multiple ppl say they anticipate some sort of dinner party at the potters but at this point i don't think that's likely to happen. i actually tried to write it but it didn't work. there's one reason i can think of that it might happen, but, tbh, if it did, james and lily would not be fucking during it. too bad : ( james respects florence too much for that.
