She rarely does that, mostly when it’s necessary during a mission, or want to get closer to someone who’s somewhat an introvert, and is fond of animals. (For example, they like cats. I can imagine my Neo would have done that a few times to both know more about my Emerald, and somewhat stalk her?).
Most of the time, she prefers turning into a cat (This is her cat form). But, it’s not rare she turns into an little owl sometimes (One of her special interestes). Yes: once she turned into a chicken. Don’t ask her why, but it was funny nonetheless.
However: what she hates about turning into a domestic animal? Getting cuddled and touched too much, it’s a sensory hell for her. So, the owners have to expect their “““pet””” to be quite more aggressive and skittish than usual once she reaches her limit point.
Also, I’ve been wondering about one thing about her Semblance... If, by touching something, is able to disguise it (The airship scene, for example), does that mean she’s able to change someone’s appearance by only touching them? That’d be quite peculiar of her. Even though I can imagine this would drain a good bunch of her aura, and getting sensorily overwhelmed too.
Which, sucks. A lot.
