@xiplicity didn’t ask for it but gets a 💕 anyways~
Her unlikely friendship with Tendou-senpai and her study sessions with Kawanishi-kun lead her to meeting the rest of the volleyball club regulars and striking a tentative friendship with them as well. As it turns out, the whole elegant and intimidating aura they have as a champion team is pretty much just a front. They’re all very eccentric and funny once you get to know them a little better.
So she makes them all valentine’s day gifts, but doesn’t quite know how to deliver it to a few of them. Tendou-senpai and Kawanishi-kun are easy, since she’s actually befriended them first. Reon-senpai is always very kind and gentle, Semi-senpai and Yamagata-senpai as well. And Goshiki-kun is just adorable. But Ushijima-senpai and Shirabu-kun... The first because he is earnest to the point of being literal and the latter because he probably found the entire thing frivolous. So she approaches them together, not knowing if she has the guts to embarrass herself with the explanation she’d rehearsed in her head more than once.
“You’re very inspiring.” She blurts out as the two most-difficult-to-approach from the volleyball club stand before her. “As top students and athletes in a school renowned for both.” And it was a privilege to watch them upclose. But she couldn’t say that. “So this is a thank you gift. For your hard work and friendship.” Alice is taking a gamble using that last word, but acquaintanceship is formal to the point of being silly and she goes with the least mortifying option.
With a soft smile, she hands them both a clear baggie tied with a gold ribbon, full of marbled sugar cookies painted with the colors of their school. “Happy Valentine’s Day.”
