Mirage City vs Phantom Island... both imaginary places... MC as a place to seek out of escapism, and PI as a place to crashland and be trapped in... an island as a place of isolation, and a city as a hub for communication and connection... mirage like an oasis and phantom like a ghost or a nightmare... starting the journey from your hometown to mirage city, and years of travel later ending up in a scary, confusing place... hmhmhm...
