my gender. is like a ringtone. but only when it's androgynous. you don't know who's calling but you know someone is there. someone.

my gender. sometimes. is like a puppet. free floating under control. snapping strings. fighting for control. fighting. feeling like plastic.

and sometimes. it's like the colour pink. in a metaphorical sense. loved and loving. scared. learning. becoming new.

and sometimes. i don't know.
