ive actually thought extensively about superhero au juno which is really funny bc i REALLY DO NOT LIKE SUPERHERO MEDIA but the thing is ugh its just (chefs kiss) it fits him so well
i haven’t even really decided on a power, but i know his grandpa would’ve been a hero and the rest of his family being villains, his grandpa being catagorized as a villain up till he died when people realized hey maybe this guy wasn’t bad and he was just misundersstood and became kinda famous and well analyzed because he wasn’t a “normal hero” but he clearly wasn’t a villain. James would think he falls into the same catagory but lol ur not even a villain ur just an abuser dude calm down. juno would grow up w some kind of power that’d make him SUPER EASILY catagorized as a villain, kinda like that one purple guy in bnha. and esp with him being a really weird kid growing up (mute half the time, tempermental, low empathy, antisocial, impulsive, learning disabilities) he’d be shoved into the corner of everyone assuming he’s inherently evil. he is not <3
but he would take up the villain role in stride, but he’d absolutely approach it like dr horrible does. he wants change!! he wants stereotyping to stop. he wants the treatement of ex villains to be better. etc etc etc. he isn’t actually a danger (though he does def seem like one w the way he interacts w people. don’t forget NORMAL juno just stabbed his bf for the fuck of it) but due to the way he talks, and interacts w others, and how absollutely fucking flamboyent and loud about being a “villain” he is everyone thinks hes like. the fucking worst!!!
cut to his stoner hero boyfriend who really doesn’t wanna be a hero he just wants to make music and get famous. gets deployed to kick junos ass, juno just goes “i’ll pay you 50 bucks to say you beat me up and let me do whatever” and he goes DEAL.
