Subaru was starving. He'd been on his way to meet up with the rest of his friends at the agency for some sort of meeting, but given his fast pace, it wouldn’t be a problem if he stopped somewhere for a quick bite, would it? Besides, he can grab some snacks and drinks for everyone else, too! They would probably appreciate that.
Upon arriving at the supermarket, the orange-haired boy began navigating the aisles and picking out goods that catch his interest. Seeing as the currency in Koi was mostly in bills than in coins, Subaru had no qualms with spending his money (especially since he would get coins back each time). If he spent too much, however, he’d probably get a stern talking to, so he was limiting his spending for now.
...Those cream puffs looked really good, though. It was the last box, too... he was extremely tempted. However, not only was it expensive, but an idol like himself needed to watch his diet. But, even so...
He didn’t need to deliberate too much on the topic. “If it’s just this once, then there’s no problem! Don’t mind if I do~.” He grinned to himself, reaching for the pack of cream puffs. However, it seemed that just as he touched the item, someone else’s hand had been reaching for it, too.
The boy glanced up to meet eyes with a girl who appeared to be near his age. “Huh? You wanted this, too?” He didn’t seem too keen on letting go of the box. “I shouldn’t be having these anyway, right? So letting someone else have them might be for the best, huh...” With a frown, his grip loosened slightly. He still wasn’t sure if he wanted to give it up, though.
