With glasses askew on her face, Sumia forced herself through a crowd of demons to land next to the lavender-haired mage’s feet. “I’m sorry!” Picking herself off the floor, she brushed the dirt off her armor, then she glanced up into the woman’s face before staring demurely down at her riding boots.
“Sorry! I-I— you remind me of a friend I used to have.” There’s a regality to the other woman’s form that was similar to her Lord, but she doesn’t deserve to call him that now. “Anyways, I believed you drop this…” She held out a form of currency in her hand.
“Why give it back to her? She’s nothing more than a two-bit hack, Sumia! Not even that pretty…” Waving her hand to smack the leg of the demon hovering over her shoulder, the Pegasus rider still doesn’t move her head from her bowed position.
