This was the song that hooked me to Interpol. This amazing NY band emerged in the beginning of the 21st century with the NY rock revival. With bands like The Strokes && the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Interpol stood out for its dark sound && deep voice singer, Paul Banks.
Although it is not a mainstream band, at has a cult following. Their first album “Turn on the bright lights” is a true beauty. The singles were a great fit for radio && their hidden gems spoke of love, deception && angst.
Fun fact: Interpol is said to be working on their sixth album 😀😀😀😀
