Can only evolve into Shedinja if also evolving into Ninjask and the Trainer has an empty Pokeball in hand.

Nincada live underground in complete darkness, as they can't stand sunlight, and they remain mostly motionless as they await evolution, sometimes waiting for over 10 years.
Nincada absorb nutrients from the roots of nearby trees.
Nincada are almost entirely blind, relying on their antennae to "see" instead.
