Mark and I met in Rome in 2012 on a study abroad trip when my roommate and I went over to his place and ended up watching the Speak Now World Tour Live. He liked Taylor’s music, and that instantly interested me. He had even previously seen her on tour.

Over the last six years, we’ve been to six shows together. On 9/8/18, he proposed to me at Beach Acces 13 on our favorite island in North Carolina!

We are hoping to get married on 6/13/2020. Anyways, I don’t know if you’ll ever see this, but thank you @taylorswift — you’ve brought people into my life I never could have dreamed of. Some of my bridesmaids are friends I met on TUMBLR! It’s just crazy how many things in this life I have because of you, and I just wanted you to know that. Love you.
