#kirby #eye strain #ask to tag #daily kirby #my art #digital #hal laboratory #nintendo #so I was too sleepy to say anything yesterday #but my procedure yesterday morning went fine #apparently anesthesia technology has advanced a lot since 2008 XD #I didn’t even get nauseous!#I did get some pain which is to be expected #kinda unsteady once I got home (also expected)#but the one weird thing is my eyes - I was napping a lot of yesterday so I didn’t notice until late #but I can’t like focus my eyes correctly? I have my glasses and all #it’s been really weird - things that are far enough away are fine #or if I take my glasses off and hold things close it’s fine #but there was this middle range where I just was completely incapable of focusing my eyes lol #it’s apparently a known side effect of one of the meds they used during my procedure #and it is definitely going away on its own - I can read my laptop now without holding it right up to my face #so I motion-blurred a kirb to kinda illustrate what everything looked like XD #(I am fine - it was just pretty annoying)#(actually when I was drawing last night I was worried they’d changed my default brush)#(because it was blurry around the edges lol)#(it was my eyes not the brush XD )#0920

Welcome to HaikyuuCreations’ Monthly Prompt Event!

This is our very own event for all creators to create pieces inspired by the given prompts. At the end of the event, we will put all pieces into a randomizer to choose two winners. The 2 winning pieces (one written and one visual) will be announced on September 29th at 12PM EST and will be promoted on the blog until the end of the next monthly event.

This is a open event — you do not have to be in the server to participate

WRITING PROMPTS

Below are the prompts you can choose from! You can use the OTP, dialogue prompt, or both as long as you follow the given theme. Be as creative as possible as long as the prompt is the central focus of your writing piece.

1. Sapporo Autumn Fest - September hosts a food festival that brings all the Hokkaido’s gourmets in one single place and making it one of the best things one can get up to in September and October in Sapporo city - the city that never sleeps! Grab you brother, grab your sister, grab your best friends because this is where you want to be at the rise of Autumn with your bellies ready for food. Eat your fruits and veggies this harvest season alongside your favorite bowl of Ramen.

Prompt: A and B have been waiting for the Sapporo Autumn Fest, and have been dreaming about all the food that they’ll get to eat together. When they arrive, A and B decide to have a contest to see who can get the best dish and to beat their partner in a competition of authority! // “Can I have a taste of yours?” “Get your own!”

2. National First Love Day — September 18th is National First Love Day! First Love Day is a day to reflect on first love. For some people, this will feel like a distant memory. Perhaps it was a highschool sweetheart? For some, they may still be with their first love to this day! No matter what applies, First Love Day gives us the opportunity to reflect on those butterflies we experienced when we had the first romantic spark.

Prompt: A and B are each others’ first loves, but A and B have been broken up for a few years. Coincidentally, they reunite one fateful day, in which A confesses that they haven’t gotten over B at their reunion. // “Did you really think I could get over you, just like that?”

3. Morning Glories — The morning glory flower blooms and dies within a single day. In the Victorian meaning of flowers, morning glory flowers signify either love or mortality or love in vain. In Chinese folklore, they represent a single day for lovers to meet.

Prompt: A keeps reliving the same day over and over again, repeating a single day where A meets with the love of their life, B. But on this same repeated day cycle, A learns that they must try to save B from death in an attempt to rectify the wrongs done to B. // “I’m doing this to help you!” “But I can’t live without you!”

Can we just appreciate Joshua Kimmich and Benjamin Pavard please.

Josh is currently our best midfielder and also RB (sorry Benji). As well as playing his role he’s also Benji’s back up. When benji is injured/ tired he fills the position. He barely gets rest.

Benji - plays RB whist it’s not even his main position and there is no back up for him except for Josh. After coming from injury and Thiago’s departure he is forced to play full minutes. You could see the fatigue, It’s clear he is not 100% as last match proved.

I hope we don’t exhaust them to bones this season. That’s why we need players.
