you know, the funny thing is that i started this blog.. christ, two years ago? but it was this multi-fandom mishmash of everything under the sun, and i had no idea where i was really going with it. at one point i had almost three hundred followers, i think; about christmas time 2015, if i’m remembering right. i was using the url hansrey at the time ( thank u, stars war ep7 ) but wanted to shift slightly into the x files fandom. @starwarse so so graciously allowed me to have their url, mullder, - and for that gift, i’ve been constantly grateful - and being the lil eager pup that i am, i dove headfirst into making the switch. but silly me didn’t read through exactly what i was doing and wound up deleting my entire blog: three-hundred followers and all. i panicked, and very nearly gave up tumblr altogether ( tbh WHY didn’t i ?? gdi ). after a tearful fit that lasted nearly all night, i threw caution to the wind and started from scratch - but this time, i concentrated my whole focus on the x files and it’s cast. i was lucky; the 10th season came out not long after i rejoined, and with my screen recording software i practically started out making gifs as the episodes aired live and just sort of.. went from there. 12 fortunate months later, and here we are! truly, i couldn’t be more grateful to you all for making this shitty, mind-numbing, brain cell-destroying hellsite such a joy and pleasure to pursue for the second time. but especially you--

@foxmulders​, @thexfiles, and @jodiefoster​ for reblogging my content and putting my url out there. i certainly wouldn’t be half as successful as i am without you pushing me - unknowing, i’m sure - to create better gifs and to upload more frequently than i would have otherwise.

@tambourinedreamgirl​​, for being the tol to my smol, the gemini to my leo, and a better friend than i thought possible. from the anonymous beginning, your expressions of affection and love have kept me from tumbling back into the place that i still feel pull at the unstable back of my mind. it’s pretty fucked up that we live 721 miles from each other, but i think this little platonic romance is something for the history books.
