The doctors appointment went well! Of course I don’t have my glucose results back yet, but overall it went well!
My BP was the normal-est it’s been in the doctors office - I guess I was more relaxed today? 126/79 wooohoo
Got to hear the bébé’s heartbeat, which the doctor says is strong and sounds good
Got my flu shot
Had my own room the whole time, so I could recline and lay down and dim the lights
Survived getting a flu shot and giving blood four times within 3 hours
While waiting for hours at the doctor, I listened to the Aly Raisman episode of armchair expert. So good. She’s an Olympic gymnast and a survivor of Larry Nassar and her interview was so open and honest and moving. I love this podcast.
I worked through the afternoon but didn’t get anything very earth shattering done. That’s ok. Tomorrow’s another day. Tomorrow’s Friday. TGI to the MFing F.
Callie was pretty jealous of dinner, which was pizza. A little treat yoself moment. So damn tasty. One other small exciting thing: my glasses arrived in the mail today! You guys were 100% right — these ones were the overwhelming favorite and I love them. They’re so lightweight and comfortable and CUTE!
