Okay, I really shouldn't take the dog outside barefoot because that's a bad idea on several levels, but I do anyway. When we go out the back door, we have to go across the deck and down stairs to get to the yard so he can do his business. It's so fucking hot that he was crying the whole walk down and my feet are red and blistered from five seconds on the deck.
What the hell, North Carolina. This is not cool.
