okay... it’s technically the 29th as I’m writing this but I missed a day of journaling so I’m going back and documenting:

today is friendsmas !!! this is my second year doing christmas with chelsea (and my millionth with hanna ‪♡‬) I’m so stoked to give them their presents ‪—‬ in short, two separate canvases that also go together.

we laugh and awe as we eat mexican pile-on and open our gifts ‪—‬ from chelsea: super cute wall art and a little “cuddler” for Beans that I can put my shirt in :’) it’s so cute and so thoughtful and I know he’ll love cuddling with it when I’m at work

my gift from hanna KNOCKS ME OFF MY FEET. first, a mug with a chihuahua on it ‪♡‬ it looks almost exactly like beans and I almost cry! then, she tells me that the next thing is a CLUE. - Chelsea’s flash goes off on her camera, I’m totally oblivious to both the clue and the reason for the flash ‪—‬ I open the gift and it’s a Harry Styles dog tag necklace that hanna had from middle school wrapped around a Pepsi bottle.

I’m still oblivious, thinking there has to be another clue inside the rest of the gift. I empty the bag: candy, gum, stocking stuffers. no clue.

it takes me a solid minute before I realize ‪—‬ OH FUDGE. HARRY STYLES IN CONCERT. AT THE PEPSI CENTER ‪—‬ I curse in disbelief. NO. WAY. (now the clue and the flash makes sense - she was filming my reaction (what a good friend!!))

my best friend got me tickets to see one of my favorite human beings in concert. IN COLORADO. THE DAY BEFORE JULY FOURTH. it doesn’t get better than this. I’m still in disbelief and that probably won’t change til I’m at the actual concert venue! I’m SO grateful to have the best pals in the entire world and my heart is so full of love and joy and appreciation in this moment !!! how is this my life !!!!! ‪♡‬
