This was our first 12 rated movie. This movie is exceptional, beautiful and just all around amazing. We love a lot of movies but this ones an exceptional one.
What you did like about the movie:
The CGI and practical effects were breath-takingly beautiful.
The makeup was extremely well done.
The colour they chose for the alien colour is magenta, a colour that is very unnatural and should not exist, hence is an amazing choice as the ‘alien’ colour as it shouldn’t appear in nature and genuinely felt uncomfortable when it did.
The introduction of the characters wasn’t forced, it felt like a family dynamic.
NIC CAGE
The change in the monster from the original story, this was far more visually appealing and terrifying.
THE ANIMALS, OH GOD THE ANIMALS
The animal actors though were amazing.
Tommy Chong is always amazing at playing insane people and he does it so well.
All of the sets were amazing but specifically Ezra’s house looked like a true crazy electrician’s house.

What you didn’t like about the movie:
There was genuinely nothing we didn’t like about this movie.
Particularly memorable scene: Vic: The first scene with the water guy and the flashlight seeing the ‘alien’. Nic: The Alpaca monster D:
Would you watch it again: Vic: Hell yes. Nic: HECK YEAH.
Final thoughts: Vic: “God this movie was just so beautiful and so well made.” Nic: “Nicholas Cage goes insane in a different way to Mandy and damn, H.P Lovecraft, you scary.”
