So math is a problem for me. I’ve struggled with it my whole life. Failed class after class. When I got to art college I was required to take normal style classes like history etc. Well I failed math then too. It got so bad that I would sit with a tutor for an hour before and after class. It wasn’t until my semester that I was blessed with a teacher that could understand how artistic minds struggled with math. The very first day he had a student randomly fill the chalk board with as many numbers addition subtraction multiplication and division. Any numbers and to fill the board. He left the room. They did as asked and we all added it up on the calculators and called him back into the room. This dude looked at it and said the answer in less that five seconds. We were all pretty blown away. He was also a professor at pitt. Anyway he told us if we wrote down all the notes he put on the board we would hold all the answers to the tests he would give. All the tests would be open notes allowed. Holy shit right. I went from fearing I wouldn’t graduate to a first class ticket to an A+. I did as he said and he came through on his end. Many people didn’t take notes and they failed. It was like a gift for me and I’ll never forget how grateful I felt knowing someone who understood my struggles. Helping while loving is such a wonderful way to be. Hopefully one day I can get to the point where I’m fully enlightened. #12pointbolt #imamathidiot #cantevencount 13pointbolt #redo https://www.instagram.com/p/CBGVqBehS4B/?igshid=nkdj0b4rve65
