All these posts about focussing just on yourself, cutting people off, the hyper focus on individualism etc, while this (to an extent) is true, especially if you you're not being treated well - you have to have clear boundaries. But then again, this is not who I am? This is not who I want to become. I love people. I love taking care of my favourite humans. I love doing nice things for them, make them feel loved, make them feel safe and comfortable in my space. It's such a shame that pain influences you so much that it makes you change your choices in life. Sometimes these boundaries we set up, also pushes the good people, who just wants to love us accordingly, away.
