Day 19 - James Squire 150 Lashes Over in Sydney with Dan who is returning the favour by giving me a place to stay for the night. I've gone out for a lovely dinner with him and his new lady friend. I have given my approval to the union and to celebrate I try a James Squire Beer for the first time and 150 Lashes is it's name. Not sure where the name comes from or what It has to do with the beer, it's a favourite of Dans nonetheless. James Squire were the reason for me to start this little journey again so it felt only right that I try one of their beers when visiting Aus. It may be a great shock to them, that I am not actually a beer drinking (*gasps*), I've never really been a fan of the flavour. Now, Cider, that's a drink I will quaff heartily. I believe James Squire have a few ciders in their range but unfortunately the pub we went to doesn't sell any so I couldn't try them. Next time maybe. What I will say is that if you like beer then 150 Lashes certainly tastes of it so you'll probably like it. Enjoy!
