we have very limited, very erratic internet at the new gym so i have no score sheet to show you from 18.5:

BUT i did it once on saturday and then again today. the three fingers is to say i improved my score by three whole reps on my second attempt: i made 102 reps on sat (12 thrusters through the round of 18) and then today i made 105 (15 thrusters through the round of 18) which a) i’m happy about because i pushed myself harder but also tried to play it smarter with my breaks, and b) means i was almost at capacity on sat and improved as much as i could today. it was a gross seven minutes: the more fatigued you are, the more reps you have to complete. took me a while to recover! definitely am happy with how much my thrusters have improved since this time last year, and while i have more work to do on my higher skill gymnastic movements, my c2b pull up capacity and endurance has definitely increased. i probably should retest fran after that, actually...!

i’m gonna wait until all the scores are in and i know where i placed before i do my open recap post because i’m still looking at my results and figuring out what went well for me and what weaknesses i need to target this next season.
