It was this woman… Betty Crocker… as painted by Harriet Pertchik for the company’s 7th portrait commissioning of their famous icon.🖌️ Harriet used her daughter and two professional models for inspiration but added a lot of her own imagination and interpretation to achieve what would become a very alluring 1980s image. Harriet wanted to make her look approachable and modern but not trendy.
