I liked Anders because he was such a NUT and it was interesting watching him struggle to keep his sanity while Justice started to erase parts of him. I’m a sucker for tragic romances and seeing how he struggled with loving Hawke and going off the deep end, and ended up doing a horrible thing in the name of what was originally a good cause is about as tragic as it comes, yEP

I liked Alistair because Jesus Christ, he’s a cutie. It was really nice seeing him, who for all his life had been taught that he was a mistake, and that the only reason he was still alive was because of the goodwill of his betters, meet someone that he meant something to. When you think about it, it must’ve been the first time in his life that he felt like he was special to someone, and he was really cute an awkwardly romantic about the whole thing and I loved it

AND THEN WE’VE GOT FENRIS. Fenris’s romance was all about growth and healing, I think, which is another thing I like a lot. You’ve got this dude who’s known nothing but pain and struggled for all his life and doesn’t really know what it’s like to have something good, and then Hawke just backflips into his life, and helps him make a new, better place for himself and yEah it really hurts my heart in a good way
