Hi all, I’m Mandy. I am new to 1x1 roleplaying (but have been around the indie scene for awhile now). I excited to try this out and hope to write with you. BACKSTORY:
Justin is the youngest of two and is mainly described as a rebellious soul with a torn heart and mind by his older sister. Already from a young age the man loved to test the boundaries of the world around him and he made it quite clear no one held the ability to hold him down whenever he was set on something – only feeling the burns of his actions whenever someone got caught up in between his options and he stood on the edge of having to make a choice. Either way, the Cowell family is known to be tight and the siblings are a do-or-die situation with each other – ready to hold the jacket of their partner in crime no matter what.
School was something Justin held no problems with, not acing it to a tee but still finding himself gliding through with just enough knowledge and bullshit to pass through to the next stage. He spent his teenage years partying for the right reasons of wanting to stay active and social within the inner circles he felt he belonged – not afraid to blast himself to another planet with the drinks of choice or deal with his mother’s jabs in the morning while nursing an obvious hangover. Only the idea of music brought his soul to peace, finding himself often mixing around with sounds and voices on his spare time and in between homework... MORE!

Finally taking the time to edit and organize my page after a hectic past few months, but I would love to pick up a couple new plots because I only have one active one currently.

BACKSTORY:
Being an only child to two pedantic parents isn’t easy and it’s safe to say that’s a trait that travelled through Monique’s childhood to adulthood. Everything in her house stood right were her parents wanted it to stand and sometimes simply putting a plate onto the wrong spot was enough to cause a fit between this girl and them both. Bringing over friends and not remind them to clean after themselves were the worst part, and mostly Monique went over to their houses to avoid her parents’ nagging. So deep down it isn’t as much Monique mirroring her parents, but rather her hanging herself in shame whenever she tries to break the pattern forced onto her and it’s easier to let her coworkers whisper behind her back than try to make them understand something she doesn’t fully understand herself.
Her track record and skills later lead her into a career as a health inspector, and has since developed a reputation to be one of the hardest ones to please and hide from. It happens that she takes out her frustration on the restaurants, hotels and shops she visits as even second old spots can make Monique pull her notebook out to write a complain. No one dares to complain back, they know she’s the one in power so most of them play wisely and quickly cleans up for her return – while the unwise can end up as far as having to close down for weeks and by that also lose a huge amount of profit... BACKSTORY:
Horus Nazari has lived in America for as long as he can remember. As a matter of fact, he was born into the world two months after his parents’ arrival into the country, fleeing from the turmoil Egypt had to offer and into the home of Horus’ uncle who happened to reside in the country at the time. They hadn’t planned to stay for long, simply catch a break in between and assure their new born baby got to spend his first months inside a secure environment – but as life would have it, Horus father found himself a job through his wife’s brother and eventually the lot sat on a proper green card to stay.
The three moved out from the uncle when Horus was about the age of four, renting a cheap apartment that offered stability and economy to last them another five years. His parents preferred to speak with their native tongue, only switching over to English when communicating with people outside their family, leading Horus to a bilingual life style that first put him at trouble with school as English came off unfamiliar. As he grew older and attached himself to more friends that pulled him away from home, his head could catch up and he found himself coming home and refusing to speak a word of his native language; prompting his parents to catch on and learn like him. The clash that put him on the edge with his family as Horus dispatched himself more and more from his culture... MORE!
