Hiii!! I just finished reading HtKaPB and may I just say... 💥🤌🧑🍳 U COOKED WTF!! Thank you for writing this masterpiece 🙇♀️
Moving on I saw ur 200 kudos post and I wanted to ask you this question (hopefully it's not spoiler-ish): can we know what Cheongmyeong or the other characters think of us 👉👈 .
ANYWAYS BYE 🫶🫶
Thank you for reading! I answered this question below the cut, though for Cheongmyeong's thoughts there isn't much I could say that wasn't a spoiler. But I hope you still like it!
For context, this is what they think of you as of chapter 15:
Yu Iseol ♡✿⋆˙ ₊˚⊹
Since she was the first to find you, she feels a sense of responsibility for your safety. When you confirmed that you were kidnapped and was brought here, it only brought horror to her heart. The thought alone of what might have happened to you in the time in-between your kidnapping unsettles her, and she understands why you refused to disclose any more information. She hopes that one day, you'll trust her enough to tell her everything.
If you had so much as pointed those people out to her, she would have taken them out in your stead. She sincerely hopes for your happiness— believing that you deserve it more than anyone else.
Baek Cheon ♡✿⋆˙ ₊˚⊹
Still embarrassed about how he treated you years ago. He didn't know where that came from, but he suspects that he adopted it from his father and brothers— who might have been much worse in terms of courtesy. Though the two of you aren't that close yet, he thinks you're a very interesting individual— especially after you maneuvered a whole carriage while under threat of thieves. It keeps him up at night to think about where you even learned how to do that. This made him wonder— if you were capable of escaping those thieves unscathed, how were you overpowered by your kidnappers? Not as curious as Jo Geol, but after you opened up to them he suspects that your kidnapping had a very sinister intention underlying it.
He has a really bad feeling about your situation, but he doesn't want to reopen an old wound and make you panic.
Yun Jong ♡✿⋆˙ ₊˚⊹
Admires your ability to overcome the losses in your life and somehow be steadfast in your kindness. He was very surprised that you stayed this long, no one would willingly stay to work for a receding sect when there were better places of employment elsewhere. Whatever happened in your past doesn't matter to him as long as you continued to care for him and the other disciples like a mother would. You cooked homemade dishes, mended their clothes, took care of them while they were sick— can anyone really blame him if he got attached?
He knows that this won't last forever, and you will eventually have to return to Rome. So he wishes that you choose to stay at Mount Hua in the end.
Jo Geol ♡✿⋆˙ ₊˚⊹
The most curious of all the disciples, he wants to know how such a priviledged girl ended up working for a run-down sect. Your limited information only sows deeper questions into him. Like the distance you traveled (there had to be vast oceans and land seperating China from Rome!), and how you were found unconscious on a mountain far away from the nearest seaport. Such things don't add up, but you also seem just as confused and don't know a logical explanation on how you ended up in Mount Hua.
Aside from these things, he still chooses to trust you and form a friendship together. Most of all, he really likes that he's the only one who can speak your language so far— to him, it feels like he understands you the most.
Cheongmyeong ♡✿⋆˙ ₊˚⊹
Fully convinced you're a grandma who lived in the same timeline as PBSS with like 2 grandkids or something, he just can't prove it yet. All of your hobbies and habits are really strong evidences to back up his claim, so this leads to you being the only one he doesn't see as a grandkid in the whole sect. Though the circumstances of travelling to this timeline might be different, a part of him is grateful that you're in the same boat and secretly wishes that you stay for longer (even at the expense of your suffering). Feels a little guilty for thinking like that but wonders why you're so adamant in returning home— how can you return anyways? Isn't it better to live in the present, with him in Mount Hua?
He wants to tell you so much about his past but won't start unless you bring it up first. Please talk to him, knowing someone who has gone through identical conditions and them being easy to contact everyday is a lot more comforting than you think.
I was going to post this up last Tuesday but I, er, was a little distracted, shall we say 😂 Anyway – I just wanted to post that my Regency AU Carver/Merrill longfic “A Chance Engagement” reached a kudos milestone last week!
I’m so so delighted and continue to be amazed that such a niche fic for my tiny rare-pair OTP has got this far – I actually think it’s the only fic in the “Carver Hawke/Merrill” tag on AO3 focusing on them as a main pairing that’s breached 200 kudos – even though I’m so sorry it’s still not finished!
I’ve had at least two people reach out and hint that they’d really like me to post up the next chapter, and I promise you I will as soon as my other writing deadlines are out of the way (I have another fic about to be published soon 👀 )
Thank you all so, so much for your continued support all this time, and thank you to everyone who has read my fic or given it a try ❤️
Touya gets sick. Hawks steals a moment. Ghosts on standby.
Preview:
Peeling the comforter back, he took Touya’s hand, pressing kisses to each finger gently. They were clammy, but so comforting that Keigo nearly choked on the feeling of wanting more. It was hormones. Emotional burnout. A million other things teenagers have to deal with.
That’s what he had to keep telling himself.
He dug his teeth into the soft skin of Touya’s palm, wings tugging closer around him.
(I didn’t think this story would gain much traction, so WOW. It’s modest in the grand scheme, but for me, it’s insane. Thank you to all readers for enjoying!!)
Hii!! I was wondering if there's maybe any connection between the MC and the Medicine immortal?
I think there's a few connections between them, like how the Medicine Immortal despised Martial Artists and the MC is unable to become one.
Alternatively it's how the medicine immortal was described to have a lot of Qi and so does the Mc. Maybe it's just a coincidence but it's a thing I noticed!
There'a no connection between the MC and the Medicine Immortal.
Don't be fooled; whatever happens in the next chapters, or how much there are hints about the Medicine Immortal in regards to MC— they have nothing to do with each other.
GUYS THE ART OF ESPIONAGE JUST REACHED 200 KUDOS TYSM!!! I’ve loved writing Chaotix mystery and watching everyone theorize and join together in the comments, and we’ve only got one more chapter before the end of Arc 2! Can’t wait for the final reveal <3
Thank you all again for your support and I hope you continue to enjoy the story! ^^
