LIPS TURNED DOWN IN A FROWN , aurora mindlessly swirled the purple boba at the bottom of her cup around in circles . “ i'm conflicted , ” she said on a sigh. “ i think my building is h a u n t e d and i'm not sure if i'm being paranoid or if i should move . ” she was honestly more inclined to pack her things and find somewhere else to live , but she adored her apartment — it had everything she could possibly look for .. and apparently something she definitely did not want , as well.

bash was never a huge partier but he loved people so he went to parties where he would hopefully meet more interesting people. most people would expect someone his age to go off the deep end and party like there was no tomorrow. but instead, he would have maybe one drink and just talk to anyone who caught his eye. speaking of, someone just caught his eye and he walked up to them. "hey!" he grins. "how are you doing? you enjoying yourself?" he wasn't even the host of the party, he just always wanted to make sure everyone was having a good time. "i was just about to go get one of those mocktails. you want one?"

if avery got invited to any more fucking cocktail parties they swore they were going to let the family agent go. like, come on! they were doing a buffy reboot, not a martin scorsese film— did they really need to be partying so hard to promote a show that already had a million seasons up on disney plus? sitting by the bar, by themselves, they were contemplating either getting another drink or straight up leaving. it was until they felt eyes on them— not any eyes, a familiar-ish face. “if you’re going to stare, at least buy me a drink.”
