Do you ever watch BESP commentary on VM at their first World Championships as seniors?
Because you should.
Our wee baby VM (youngest in the field) finished in 6th place, the highest senior debut at Worlds ever...to this day. The following year they won the Free Dance with Umbrella’s of Cherbourg, got 2nd overall and have not been off of the Worlds podium ever since.
Ok, I suddenly developed a love for this program. It seems so balletic. It’s really beautiful. Why did they finish in 6th place overall, tho?? Apparently they were 7th after the OD, which i didn’t see, and they were in 1st when they finished this FD, but idk how many people went after them and how they were still in 6th.
