Can we talk about this 60x60” from 2012? One of my favorite paintings, painted in Seattle in one of my favorite all-time studios @inscapearts and a pivotal piece that really was the beginning of my #lanternseries 🌔🌒🌑🌘🌗 I had always imagined that if this piece never sold it would be one of the paintings that I’d keep with me forever...well: it sold to a couple in Texas who commissioned a third panel, and I’m in the midst of trying to access my 2012 mindset 🙃🙂 what was I thinking about in 2012?!?
