The relay kit is ESSENTIAL when doing a HID kit install on a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. As you can see in my pervious post, I was having issues with one of my headlights going out after a few minutes without the relay kit. This was definitely no fun to deal with, but I was happy to find his second video on the issue. He explains here how to set up the relay kit, so that the power for the lights is taken directly from the battery itself. The bulbs are much more powerful than the stock bulbs and that is why they need to be linked up to the battery. Just make sure that when you install the relay kit, that you tighten the connection from the relay to the battery. I mistakenly left it a tad loose and it was fine for a little while, but from the engine shaking I lost connection to the battery and I was stranded for a little while. Luckily I had my Hyundai roadside assistance!
