XERAUNOS or X for short, is a barbaric and vicious entity who’s origins hail from the VOID (due to this nature of being from another dimension and beyond human comprehension she inherently doesn’t have a gender but uses she/her pronouns to reflect her chosen identities throughout time.). And her existence has been known since the inception of televisions and has been stalking humanity for many decades… possibly even longer.

Her interest in the human race extends to her interest in cartoons and video games using those as a medium to devour the souls of people or putting them inside of the bodies of the current franchisees characters. X sees humans as disposable guinea pigs to test and play with until she gets bored with them.

In 2012, Xeraunos create a false copy of Sonic Mega Collection to express her new love of playing “games” Slow, agonizing death traps of torment and psychological horror. Xeraunos doesn’t merely kill. She toys. She rigs her games so escape is nearly impossible, delighting in the mental degration and panic of her victims as they struggle and run from the inevitable…

VICTIMS

After perfecting her world she captured humans and played games with them as usual, but she started to keep the two particular human humans that she to torture constantly whenever somebody plays the game within the desk which acts a conduit between her world and the real world.

Alyssa Valdés

On February 15th 2013, her 9th birthday. She had a party with her dad that going pretty well for just the both of them until Alyssa’s dad, unknowingly of what he was sitting in motion gave her a copy of sonic mega collection for the Xbox 360 as a form of compensation for not getting her the Wii as she wanted. Unknowingly sealing her fate.

After her death, She quickly became X’s favorite victim to torment, her easily frightened nature made her the perfect target for cruelty. And the repeated trauma of dying to her again and again, each more brutal than the last ─ Left her fragile, anxious and in a constant state of dread.

Kyle Chapman

On March 12th, 2013 Kyle was scavenging the Internet for cheap games to pass the time when he stumbled past an odd I’ll be a cheap offer on eBay of an undisclosed collection of sonic games. Despite the weird feelings that he got from the offer.

He got the game with no problem and started to play with his friend Tomas’s Xbox that he borrowed before realizing that there’s something wrong with it halfway through and stop because it unnerved him. He had given in to the constant nightmares telling him to finish the game and wrote letter to Tom to destroy the disc before meeting his fate.

After his death, he tries his best to help other victims in this circumstances, but this comes with the consequences of making him a prime target for xeraunos, she always ensures that his deaths are the most slowest and painful.

Xeraunos likes to also use other mediums too collect the souls of other people and takes the form of other franchise characters after being released onto the Internet in 2020.

Anything from Sprunki to Dandy’s World to My Little Pony.

Slight spoilers for Synchronicity (Metal Monarch AU fic Im working on) but here they are, and Non-Metal Aus if I have space (labelled with an asterisk):

- Metal Monarch - my first elaborated metal sonic au. Metal achieves his Neo Metal Overlord powers back through the help of Synergy/Subterfuge!x/2013x (more on him later)

Metal kills a buncha people in this Au but eventually goes to live in the Sonic Jam Rom Syn lives in. Him and Synergy are Very Close btw. X's time in the Metal Monarch Au was very prolonged compared to other places.

Theres also my friend @goldenphone-jpg (who cant use his phone rn)'s Oc, Jack Rabbit, and all three are Team Cyber.

- Rival Metal - See my previous post because it was already a good explanation. Metal sonic replaces shadow and gets go be cool, quippy and violent.

- Insane Metal - Meta Snaps and kills people, basically. While Monarch leans more into the Sane parts of Metal, Insane Metal just becomes a killing machine.

- CD Zone - technically a Fan Zone concept for the Zone stuff they had in Archie Sonic. Everyone in this Zone is based on a Zone from Classic sonic, Palette and power-wise (Sinker/Zonehog is Labyrinth Zone, Scrapper/Zonebot is Lab act 4 (the purple one from that other zone), Hook/Zonefox is Marble Garden (Marble Fox joke), Line/Zonechidna is Angel Island (on fire).)

Shadow is a villain in this one because I hate shadow /silly

- Stardust Metal - created right now because I imagined Metal Sonic with the aesthetics of Stardust Speedway and Im obsessed. Not much else but my love for metal rn. And sometimes? Thats all you need

- Metal Council - a get-together for all of the robot versions of Sonic (+ a few non-sonic guests who are mostly +1s n 2s for the Sonics)

NON-METAL AUS:

- * SonicROM - we finally get to talk about Synergy. Synergy (or Subterfuge!x / 2013x, or Sensor, or Syntax, or Extra Life Virus, or Bruiser, or Copywarez... you get the point) is an EXE who takes over a copy of Sonic Jam. In the game he replaces sonic and acts as a sort of friendly guide/gamemaster, while in canon's real life (this takes place in the same universe as MarioPSA but none of you on my main know what that is) he is an Eldritch Code Virus who is basically being begged to for help because they think he's benevolent

... anyways he is not. He is mostly sadistic, but keeps a whimsical side about him, torturing people with a little zest about him. His name is 2013x because I like it. He likes Metal Sonics. You arw speaking to him/me right now (headmate)

Synergy has many forms with many names, but his main powers are copying (like neo metal), illusions & debug mode stuff (shields, super/hyper boxes, Extra Life, etc....) + Blood/Bone/Musclekinesis, Chaos/Phantom/Sol Energy and Vine/thorn/plant powers. Cuz the Cool Factor is Insane. Hes literally a Sonic.exe dont be surprised hes op.

He has little minions that kinda look like sonic characters and they are (1 for Followers, 1 for Subterfugeified) called Metal Synonym (Subterfuge!Metal_Sonic) and Metal Follower (Follower!Metal_Sonic)

The Subterfuges are more cute and cuddly (to keep the aesthetic) while the Followers are more like the standard demonized exe victimes

(Subterfuge!x has a counterpart called Pellucid!z / blaze.zip btw.)

- * Unnamed Gore_hog Au - She's a very gorey exe who kills people in brutal ways. Inspired by Sonic.omt, she lives in SonicROM with 2013x (& Monarch)

- * LOVELETTER.AMY - Amy is short for Amour in this. Amour has a body covered in thorns and roses. She follows 2013x around sometimes.

- * Electric Scourge - this is my take on Surge, by making it so that she is actually a transfem/bigender butch lesbian Scourge trying to live in the down-low. Scourge/Fiona is a thing in this. Idk who kit is yet, idek if hes IN this.

- * Mecha Sally - Will work on a fic about this called Damnatio Memoriae. Hopefully I spelled that right. Anyways this Sally gets transported from Archie to normal IDW Still as a robot.

That was a thing before Archie was cut short, and I liked the tragedy of Sally waking up in a world that didnt recognize her anymore, with no means to de-roboticize her (mobian roboticozation has never been big enough a problem to warrant a cure in Games/IDW)

- Theres a possible Exesha & Exterior (NU inspired) au but its just a thought rn.

Xeraunos differences (and a colored ref)

All though 2020X is not what she looks like currently, it’s pretty close though

I wanted these two designs to reflect her two different stages.

2013X being a more a bloodthirsty, animalistic monster that greatly revels in hunting and tearing apart its victims. she’s a lot more self-obsessed with the idea of her being divine, genuinely confident that she was a god tormenting mere mortals for her entertaining.

2020X however is a more experienced, calm and composed but awfully malevolent, no longer confine herself to just a game, now being able to hijack TV programs, YouTube videos and other platforms to catch her victims. She’s a lot more interested in psychological tournament around than physical interested in the mental degration and the loss of sanity, though this doesn’t mean she stopped mauling her victims. She’s more slow and ruthless, putting them through hours of unbearable pain.

(Fun Fact! 2013X is showing her real teeth but has fake eyes, while 2020X is showing her real eyes but has fake teeth. The two images below has their eyes swapped because her anatomy is completely at her will)

OK guys I promise I’ll make an actual reference for Lola when art block isn’t annihilating my ass.

But in the Meantime, take this character that I plan to have in the story, but I cut out for a more of a focus.

He was supposed to be the second half of the cosmic calamity that xeraunos was born from essentially making him her brother in a way.

His whole deal was that instead of tormenting his victims fall eternity for personal gain he’s more or less like a litmus test for people’s sins and actions.

Like if you’re pure of heart or in an abusive situation, he would give you some helpful advice or kill your abuser outright (regardless of how the victim feels them)

But if he finds you blackened with sin or done something he deemed horrible he would just straight up to kill you and eat your organs.

So it’s more like a corn flip between if you either live or not and he fully believes he’s doing the right thing
