2019 Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps
Totally happy to see Phantom have such a strong presence at DCI Finals this year. One of the best drum corps of all time (without a doubt) and I always believed their placements never truly reflected the gratifying impact that the corps would provide (a very intense group of performers year after year after year).
With their show based around Joan of Arc (conceptually implementing a significant message regarding not only female empowerment, but the liberation of all individuals within the collective whole), Phantom Regiment made 12th place look awesome. It’s a true testament to just how absolutely intricate and well-detailed, well-thought, and (of course) well-executed these corps have become just within the last couple of years alone. I’m really looking forward to see what happens in 2020 (or what I am referring to as the beginning of the NEW “ROARING 20′s”!)
