Had another one of those restless yet itching to draw moments, and it just so happened that one of Ariana Grande´s songs was playing in the background, and my hand did the rest. You know the drill 😅😂😂

I tend to go overboard with details, so with this piece I tried to make it as simpled as possible. I input elements that Ari is known for—-the color lavender ( and other colors in the spectrum), her name´s initials (AG), a sihoutte of her profile and side pony (pretty much her trademarks), as well as the moon (Honeymoon Ave, anyone?)

I cross-posted this drawing on IG/ TWT under the same username. Mind that as IG has a picture size limit, I had to fit my drawing into a square and decorated its background to make it less stale. Guess who!!!!! The one and only, of course! You know who ;)

Now, this is only about the fourth time I tried drawing a realistic portrait, and I´m happy to see that it looks decent! I still have so much more to imporve on, but for now, I am satisfied. What do you think? Does it look close enough? :)

I always have a hard time drawing faces because of how distinct every person is. I am well used to symmetry and patterns and uniformed arrangements, but the human face isn´t any of that. It´s interesting and frustrating at the same time, hahaha!
