On this day, one year ago...
Today we went to Osaka Castle. I was really looking forward to it, but unfortunately I was still ill, carried on for how I felt on the plane :( I needed somewhere to lie down, so the lovely staff took me to this baby changing area, put me behind this curtain thing, provided me with food and water, they just let me rest for as long as I needed. They were so kind and considerate. I felt really bad, for them and for my friend, who had to put up with me and travel around Osaka Castle on her own.
I had a really nice amble back to the hotel after this, stopping in a mall to look for some bananas. My poor friend was waiting for hours on the doorstep of our hotel - I didn't realise!
We went to Dotonbori in the afternoon/evening for dinner
We then travelled to Kyoto. Lovely people helped us at the station when we got lost :')
It was hard trying to direct the taxi guy to our hotel, but we tried our best :') It was a really nice big hotel room but it was a Love Hotel so my friend was a little uncomfortable about the 'free amenities' we got 😅
