On this day, one year ago...

Today it RAINED! GOSH! I went to get breakfast from 7-Eleven and got SOAKED. I bought an umbrella but it did not help enough, my DAYS.

I took the bus into town to visit Tenmonkan Street, just for something to do that day as my plans to explore Sakurajima were dashed by the weather. By this point, by shoes were more liquid than material. Converse were not built for this, naturally 😭 So I beelined to a shoe shop. It was the fastest I'd ever bought shoes in my life, basically just getting the exact same ones again (cos I knew I liked the Converse fit), but I easily let the saleswoman talk me into waterproofing spray cos that seemed like a necessity at this point 😭

The rain was torrential!

I walked around the covered shopping street, dashed between shopping complexes, had a McDonalds lunch... just ambled about, hiding from the rain, really.
