How is a label limiting besides being a descriptor?

A label, while being a descriptor, is defined by boundaries—not the lack thereof. Meanwhile, I refuse to bind myself to any limit, because I am always changing (intellectually, physically, spiritually, philosophically, emotionally, etc).

If you have time, I would suggest reading Ralph Waldo Emerson’s essay “Self-Reliance”; try to grasp what he is saying when he writes about how fluidity of thought and intellect is not a weakness, but a rare strength.

Intersex:

Intersex people are born with a variety of differences in their sex traits and reproductive anatomy. According to experts, upper estimates are that nearly 2% of the general population is born with intersex traits (more than the entire population of Japan!). There is a wide variety of difference among intersex variations, including differences in genitalia, chromosomes, gonads, internal sex organs, hormone production, hormone response, and/or secondary sex traits.

Intersex people come from all socioeconomic backgrounds, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, faiths, and political ideologies. In addition, intersex people can have many different gender identities. Though some individuals with intersex traits identify with intersex as their gender, the majority don’t--they may identify as male, female, non-binary, or a different gender. Intersex individuals may also be transgender if they do not identify with the gender with which they were raised. The same breadth of sexualities seen in the general population are also represented in the intersex community. Most of all, intersex people face similar bias and fear of difference that faces the entire LGBTQ+ community. As such, intersex people are valuable members of our communities who deserve recognition and respect. --hrc. Org

Polyamorous:

Polyamory is the practice of having multiple romantic or intimate relationships simultaneously, with the full knowledge and consent of all involved. The term comes from the Greek poly meaning "many" and the Latin amor meaning "love". Polyamory is based on the idea that it's possible to love more than one person at once in a deeply connected way. It's not considered a sexual orientation, but some practitioners view it as a core part of their identity.

Polyamory can be defined in as many ways as there are unique individuals. The core take aways are more than one intimate (intimate doesn't always mean sexual) partner and full consent of all involved.
